I think masks are important in crowded indoor settings, but there are pictures of me without a mask for at least 4 reasons:

a) pulled off for the picture
b) speaking in front of people
c) eating
d) walked inside and forgot to mask up

None of that changes my masking opinions. I just mask back up and prevent as much COVID as I can.

I think there have been some great "gotcha" photos illustrating the double standards and hypocrisy (photos of that gala thing come to mind), but others seem pretty tame. Not sure what the current position of dems is or what regulations are in effect now.

I just looked again to make sure, and yes, the children in that photo did a better job remembering their life-saving masks than the adult who lobbied to become the VP of the United States of America.

I think she should have just tweeted about why she didn't have one on. Now she looks like she's trying to hide something.

B's point B is what came to mind for me. I would assume she's there to speak to the kids. It's not out of the ordinary to take off your mask to speak to a crowd.

Our Governor is ending the school mask mandate at the end of the month, I know a couple other states are, too. We'll see how it goes, and hopefully they have a plan to re-instate the mandate if things go south, but no one wanted kids with masks on all day at school forever, right?

I actually don't care for Stacey Abrams much. I'm know she's good at what she does (activism, organizing), and seems like a genuine person, but I don't think she can win on a national level. She lost in her own state. She is over-hyped, like our (now) VP was for a long time. Both of them annoy me. Karen Bass or Susan Rice would have been better.

She shilled for Bloomberg in 2020, she is 100% full of shit, whatever the net good of her efforts may be.

In their defense, our reptilian overlords probably can't even get the same diseases that humans can, so there is no reason for them to wear masks.
