Good news fellas, for anyone who pre-ordered the CD from Ten Club, you be receiving it a few days early. Mine just came in the mail.

2) my half-assed justification for listening is that i was anticipating this song the least. i'm far more attracted to the descriptions of WES, alright, 7:00, retrograde and river cross. So, i thought, if I play this and i love it, i'm not really cheating, AND i'm building excitement and anticipation.

it is fantastic. so much going on. not to mention, blasting this through our sonos system to my three kids and wife, who is finally off her back after a brush with the virus, was a much needed jolt of electricity. we all jammed out to it in the living room. will be a memory. not going to beat this thing to death today though.... at least that's my plan.

This wait has been the worst of all the album waits imo. I feel like going to a mosh pit. Its taking all my strength to not listen to the latest single Quick Escape. I'm genuinely stressed about it at this point which makes no sense to me.

you have to break your resolve down deliberately and incrementally. Step 1, tell yourself it's ok because it's not a leak. simmer on that for a while. When that feels good, step 2: tell yourself you'll only listen to it once, and via your iphone speaker or shitty headphones so to not get the full experience. Then, give in to the inevitable impulse to actually experience it through good speakers/headphones, which is only natural, after all. Then, enjoy the song on repeat until midnight tomorrow night with blissful impunity because, fuck it.

Who's left that is still a no leaker and hasn't received their physical copy?
