About to call your name is a good one, too

This song has grown the most since first listen.
Also, I think the lyric in the first chorus is "all the LIVES we could have had" not "all the lines". Unless there's some regret about not doing more cocaine, in which case "all the lines" it is.

I think those are official lyrics from liner notes. I hear lives, too, though

Love this track, I get such a Bruce vibe from it the way he sings the verses.

This was bugging me. The verses remind of the verses from More News From Nowhere. Don't @ me.

5 stars. Definitely 5 stars. One of MANY. Gigaton is everything it should be. It’s wonderful.

Love how Ed delivers, "There’s still a fire in the engine room."

And just like that, after listening while reading the lyrics, this climbed to the top spot of this album. Best PJ song in ages. Then again, the same could be said for DOTC, QE, and a couple more from Gigaton.

There’s still a fire in the engine room
Knows relief will be coming soon
What’s to be done
Carve a path for rivers reign
Much to be done
Oceans rising with the waves
So held by these thoughts
They refuse to slip away
Hangman in dreamland
About to call your name
The vocal delivery of each of these lines is just perfect. Eddie really nailed it.
