The Bad batch turn treasure hunters

Kind of reminded me of LOTR/Indiana Jones/Zilo beast episodes from clone wars adventure.

Episode 6 was pretty good. The Bad batch on Kasshyk was pretty cool. Best side mission of the series so far.

It doesn’t really advance the story much but always good to see Wookies vs Trandoshans

Gungi would make a good BB member imho. I think it’s time the BB expanded its crew.
I also think Echo/Crosshair would be better served working for Rex. It will be interesting to see where Cody lands

Now that moved the story along nicely
Echo joining Rex makes sense (I predicted it)

Along with the 3rd episode these were the best episodes of the second series easily

I’m all caught up with just the latest two episodes to watch.

Really upped the game this season. The treasure hunt episode was really great. Why not just make that last doctor aphra though? Ah well.

I’m told the latest two are really intense and have palpatine so excited to see them.

9th episode was cool.

Im pretty sure that was Hondo that stole the Marauder.
The mission would of gone smoothly if Echo was their.
Omega getting over the loss of Echo is a nice story.
Time for 1-2 new members ot join the Batch

I'm not caught up -- only watched the first two so far. And I'm interested but if Hondo is in this, can y'all give me a heads up so I can skip those episodes? Thank you in advance.

I don’t think Benny will join the crew, but we might see him again on a future mission. He left them by saying “remember, if you need a good thief, i owe you one”

I really like the music in #9, the cave episode.

YEp he seemed very torn/regretful. Cody going AWOL at the end of the episode leaves us with many unanswered questions IMHO.

Apparently crosshair will be back next episode which will be awesome to see. im just not sure why we had to wait 9 episodes to pick up the story again.

THE ZILO BEAST IS BACK!!!!!!!!!

Good to see Nala Se and Lama Su finally back and some action on Mount tantiss.
Im just not sure why we had to have so many detours on the way.

They’re actively after Omega now so things should get interesting

Honestly, it better be. This season has been boring as hell. A childrens cartoon is not going to have the depth of character to be entertaining to me on its own without the benefit of tying into the larger narrative of the story. Rebels, the Clone Wars, etc were at their best when it provided background or expanded upon the established narrative of the existing story- not droids on weird side missions. This season of Bad Batch has kinda felt like Resistance to me, where it isn't adding anything.

We get it, Hunter wants to be Omega's dad, Tech is her Uncle that's coming around, and Ricker is her jock older brother. She's proving herself to them. That's been the entire arc of the season like 8 different times.
