This thread is a collective effort, so if you're dissatisfied with the pace, no one is stopping you from moving it along! The song list is linked in the OP.
I briefly thought I liked Maroon 5 after hearing Adam Levine's guest spot on Late Registration. This impression broke down with each one of their own singles I heard, finally hitting a point of no return with the hideous "Moves Like Jagger." No taste for this one at all; give me BTS instead.

Sometimes I think I could really like some rap. But definitely not this one.

Guys, at the risk of being a party pooper, Sicko Mode is not the next song.

I expect we'll get into it more when we get to its actual spot, but calling "Sicko Mode" a "generic rap song" is deeply funny to me. I don't even like the track but there's a lot of wild shit going on there that falls well outside of the term "generic"

One thing worth mentioning is that this list keeps changing. The Billie Eilish song used to be #97, but now it's #98 (the Imagine Dragons song surpassed it). Maybe we should nail down a version of the list and stick to it

We may actually be effecting the results with all our views! The experiment is changing the subjects!

Like what? I don't know enough or care enough to delve deeper.

First of all not all rappers are satanists whose concerts are orgies of death in sacrifice to the one true god

That's one of his plusses.

I can't remember how to link YouTube's with my phone but #94 is I'm Yours by Jason Mraz.
Can someone on a desktop link it for us? Thanks

#94- "I'm Yours," Jason Mraz
Every time I hear this song I think there is nothing about it that would make me like it any less, and then he says, "Scooch on over closer, dear -- and I will nibble your ear."

The chord structure is as generic as they come. It's a super corny song and I understand why soccer moms are in love with it. He's a good, sweet singer and the sentimental value is there for them.

It's kind of shocking to me that the Maroon 5 song is so popular. There is nothing good about it, nor about any Maroon 5 songs ("Moves Like Jagger" is legitimately one of the worst songs ever recorded. "Take me by the tongue"?)
This Jason Mraz song is really terrible, too, the kind of unbearable acoustic "rootsy" feel-good-ness I can't stand about artists like Jack Johnson. I hate the scatting! Is there anything good about this one? Not for me.
The YouTube comments are interesting, and testament to the power of even the shittiest of songs to leave an enduring mark on people's lives:

Marcus Pratt wrote:
I remember being in the car with my mom and my two younger brothers it was summer and the sun was shining its was a beautiful day this came on the radio and my mom was singing and had her hand to her mouth like a mic and started to pass it to us to sing and we all passed it around this imaginary mic and sang together . I'll never forget those little memories growing up. I love you mom
