Do any of you Bucs fans attend home games with any regularity?

How bad a shape is the OL to bring in Incognito?

The first pre season game the o-line looked awful.

Oh god
I guess this opens up the possibility that someone on the bucs might actually beat his ass like he deserves

Tampa just traded Tim Wright and an undisclosed draft pick to the patriots for Logan Mankins.....that should hopefully keep Incognito out of Tampa

I have this feeling that the Patriots got the better of this trade, especially if that draft pick is higher than, say, a six. There's a chance that Mankins could be washed up--he was awful in the AFCCG, highlighted by this beautiful play:
This is the type of transaction I'd love to hear Kris's point of view on.

as a falcons fan, i'm probably limited in my authority to remark upon the misery of the buccaneers franchise, but it won't stop me from doing it throughout the season

Nice pull to get Mankins even if he's on the down side.
Better than Incognito and it's short term. Should be good for this season.

yeah, im hoping it wasnt high of a draft pick, and i dont really know much about mankins other then his name, but the Pats rarely get rid of players early

It's a 4th rounder.
He's going to be better than most rookies anyway

would the falcons fan base ever tolerate an african american named "freeman" starting for their team?

Mankins hasn't been playing to his contract for awhile, now. And thanks for providing evidence. Maybe Cannon moves to guard full time? Kinda tough with Vollmer's back, but I'd like to see it.

a 4th is a bit higher then i would have liked it to be, but he will definitely be better then who they have right now, and aside from mike williams, i dont think the bucs have hit on 4 rounder any time in the last 6 or so years so im ok with it

The other problem that I have (and Bucs fans may not want to hear this), is that this is a team that has less of a chance to make a big splash this year. Their division is tough, they're adjusting back to Lovie's system, and they have uncertainty at QB. Giving up a four and cap space for a player likely past his prime may not be the right move given the situation at hand.

I'd like it if they went with Glennon this year.

NE has traded with Tampa a few times over the last few years and the trades have pretty much always handily been in NE's favor. I'm not expecting this to be much different. Tampa's FO loves making short-sighted decisions.
