I get why the meeting with Truman could be a powerful ending, but I think the long aftermath is an important part of the whole story that I still want to be part of the movie. Just done differently. The self-flagellation and the slow realization that he created something that will spiral even further out of control could be equally powerful stuff, but the movie does it wrong.

Guys, is Tenet really that bad? I never got around to it and have been thinking of tracking it down.

Keep in mind I loved Inception. It's okay, you can laugh.

There's nothing wrong with loving Inception, and Tenet isn't that bad. There's a lot to like about it, actually

Tenet is a good movie. But before you go and assume that must mean it's terrible, I also love Inception.
Spoiler: show
Memento
The Prestige
The Dark Knight
Inception

Insomnia
Batman Begins
Tenet
Dunkirk
Following

The Dark Knight Rises
Interstellar
Oppenheimer

Honestly, I think a rewatch really helps. I might have given Oppenheimer a 5 after my first screening, but a rewatch bumped it closer to an 8. I see the threads so much more clearly

Yeah it’s a great movie.

Inception too. Tenet is not.
