I'm no fan of these guys in the first place, but this sounds terrible.
They’re not for everyone, I get it.
I’m a third of the way into the album, and enjoying it so far.

I love Modern Vampire of the City and will give the new one another chance when I'm in another headspace.

I'm otherwise a casual Vampire Weekend listener, but this new one slaps my ass. AOTY contender for sure.

These guys are one-trick ponies, but it's not a bad trick by any means.

I used to really like these guys. This song is average BUT the video is outstanding IMO.

Very interesting she is not releasing singles and the album will drop in a month or so. Im guessing it wont leak because the vinyl and cds will come afterwards?

Yeah, it caught my attention too.
She's not releasing singles, because she doesn't need to.
I think Eilish & Swift are "there" right now, they don't need to do jack shit.

I wonder if the title has something to do with the music, as in a very loud side and a very soft one.

And no singles, so no clue what it will sound like.
I already pulled the trigger on the "indie exclusive" version.
Rough Trade's description sells it pretty hard.
Billie Eilish’s third studio album, "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT", released via Darkroom/Interscope Records is her most daring body of work to date, a diverse yet cohesive collection of songs— ideally listened to in its entirety from beginning to end—does exactly as the album title suggests; hits you hard and soft both lyrically and sonically, while bending genres and defying trends along the way. With the help of her brother and sole collaborator, FINNEAS, the pair wrote, recorded, and produced the album together in their hometown of Los Angeles.
