Lyrics that are unambiguous but difficult to understand are rewarding as well. It is inferior to be of the opinion that only songs with ambiguous lyrics that aren't all that difficult to understand are good songs.

Ed's delivery of the "It's alright!" is great, maybe my favorite parts of the song.

I was on the same page as Harmless. I thought he was referring to dinosaurs and evolution, and it not being accepted by religions. When I was in first grade, I went to school and church. As a six year old I loved dinosaurs so I did my science project on them. At church, I remembering asking my youth pastor why the bible never talks about dinosaurs. He told me that if I was a true christian that I wouldn't believe in dinosaurs. That is the day I learned the meaning of the word 'bullshit'.

Jeff Ament has to be one of the most underappreciated bass players out there. I chose to post this in this thread, but it could really have been in the thread for any of these songs.
