You guys don’t like it?

When I saw it (I’m guessing in 15-16), I was unprepared, had not read anything about it. Had that and another movie on dvd for a Friday night alone. Made some good food, and put it on. It instantly had me both laughing and intrigued. Thought it was excellent.

I was totally with you until I saw the Last Jedi. I guess it's the best of the new trilogy, but even still...

These four could have easily made my list. I really thought about SoM.

Birdman, OTOH, is a movie I remember enjoying from a director I generally like with a talented cast and I couldn't even begin to tell you what it's about. I only remember the final shot. So it didn't make it.

Finally, an inclusion of Parasite! Instant classic, truly great.
Also happy to see 1917. That movie just works so well. I think I saw it twice in theatres, and then once or twice again at home. Very compelling

The final shot is the first shot. It's only one shot (unlike 1917, which is clearly two shots, regardless of what they try to tell you)

Yeah the fact that I didn't remember this either means I made the right choice. Clearly it didn't make a strong impression on me.
