Re: Thanksgiving for Turkey Haters
I always make Cornish hens for thanksgiving instead. No forcing myself to eat increasingly diminishing leftovers for days on end that way, plus it's just better than turkey anyway.

You and the Mrs are welcome to come to mine for the holiday if you like. My great-aunt is too old to travel so her family will have the holiday with her this year, and my uncle hurt his back so he's staying home this year, too. We're a relatively small group this year, so we will have more than enough space for you at our table (and in our hearts) if you like. Come on up to the house, doug

I’m convinced a big part of my wife conjuring up this trip is so she can avoid turkey.doug rr wrote:steak tartare for lunch and a buttery lemon dover sole for dinner..or a croque madamespike wrote:What should I eat in Paris on Thanksgiving? Got some premade Cajun butter to inject this year, combined with frying the turkey I think I have fully come around to bring a turkey lover

When spike gets back from this trip we should tally up how many of his posts were posted for the sole purpose of making sure we know he is (was) in Francespike wrote:What should I eat in Paris on Thanksgiving?
