I had a financial planner visit my office last week and sat and had 2 beers (3.5 mid strengths) with him after work. Drove home and into an RBT and asked out of curiosity what I blew as I'd just had 2 beers - 0.00. Still can't figure that one out - surely I should have blown at least 0.02 or something?Birds in Hell wrote:Pretty much sounds like where I live too.Strat wrote:The buses stop running here around Midnight or so. Many of the local bar owners/workers have complained (rightfully so) for years about that. The people that are running their town can't e ven catch a ride home after they are done closing up shop. A cab ride from Vail to Edwards (15 miles or so) runs about $80....
I do think there's probably diminishing returns once you keep lowering the blood alcohol limit - it seems driven by wowserism more than empirical analysis (though, hey, I might be wrong.)
I had two drinks at an after-work function last week and pretty much shat bricks the entire drive home that I'd turn a corner and find a random breath test.
I'm old...bodysnatcher wrote:lol Varis drinks O'Douls
Yeah, well spike drove through a house.BurtReynolds wrote:ha similar thing happened to me, minus the skirt and glasses, plus going the wrong way on a one way street. They drove me home and parked my car on a side street for me.
We have road stops set up but they don't breath test everyone. A cop just comes and talks to you to see if you seem drunk. If you don't, they let you go.Birds in Hell wrote:It's been 0.05 here for many years.
Random breath testing too, which Americans seem to usually go apeshit over whenever I see it brought up online. The police set up a road stop and pull over every driver for a breath test.
Not a huge fan - I find it a bit too 'perfumey' for my tastes.WtOB? wrote:Squire is pretty delicsh. How do you like Little Creatures, Varis?
I see. I've been loving it lately. My favourite Squire is the amber ale.Varis wrote:Not a huge fan - I find it a bit too 'perfumey' for my tastes.WtOB? wrote:Squire is pretty delicsh. How do you like Little Creatures, Varis?

I don't think there is a 'bad' Squire. Just my taste buds with the Little Creatures though - I know a few who love it.WtOB? wrote:I see. I've been loving it lately. Is there something to get here or is it just truly random?kahli sana wrote:

No, nothing to get. The thread got wordy, so I tried to post pictures that would provoke "is that the best you can do?" and get the ball rolling again. Instead, I was ignored...by everyone but you, B!B wrote:Is there something to get here or is it just truly random?kahli sana wrote:
