Looked on their website where they are all $8 each, and the bundle being sold for like $55-$65. It's 16 songs. Had they released this as an album it would cost $24.99-29.99. I'm just offended by this so I will not buy this.
The Chili Peppers offend my ears.
Sad. They've had numerous periods for me where they were just fantastic. Their funk heavy 80s output, the Mother's Milk/Blood Sugar Sex Magik 1-2 combo is about as good a 2 album back to back combo I can think of, and then I really enjoyed By the Way and Stadium Arcadium. I do like Californication, but I think it is sad that it came to define them more than it should have.

I also find it humorous, listening to the Eddie Vedder demos, that they sound like he couldn't decide whether he wanted to rip off Springsteen or the Chili Peppers.

Its been a few weeks since I bought a record. I feel an epic binge coming.....

The Joe Strummer album I bought a few weeks back hasn't left my table. Side A is pretty awesome...

Subpop threw in an extra download card for the new Pissed Jeans.

PM if you want it.

I ordered "Electric Ladyland" the other day because I was like, "Why don't I already have this?" It was from Amazon, and I noticed that "Ultramega OK" was really cheap (although out of stock, so no delivery estimate yet) so I snagged that too. Also, new Steven Wilson arriving Thursday!

Was it the all analog remaster of Ladyland? I just got that one recently but it was from an eBay purchase. It sounds fantastic!
I had an original pressing with a slight warp on the first record, so that one was long gone. This is one of those rare cases where a re-issue can easily replace an original pressing.

If it's the one I think it is, then yes! It was very cheap, too, so I'm pumped.

ST, did your copy of Push Back The Sky come in yet? I've been away from mine all weekend, and absence has certainly made the heart grow fonder.

The reissue is great. My only issue with it is when Voodoo Child is fading it gets to a point where it just cuts off.

I'd say worse. Haven't compared it to another version to see how deep in the fadeout it occurs, but the whole band is still pumpin along then somebody turns the switch.

I just did a quick investigation (using just MP3s, of course), and it certainly seems like the recent vinyl pressing cuts out 1/2 a second or so sooner than the CD pressing from the same year. I probably never would've noticed it...thanks, jerkface!

This record really shines in the vinyl format.

Without question. When they got the CD treatment, the drums were changed to a total 80s sound digital. It's terrible. The first three ZZ records all sound better on vinyl. Love the image inside too.

Does the record player have a brand name and a model number?
