STONE GOSSARD REVEALS WHEN PEARL JAM PLAN TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM

Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard did an interview on Italian radio yesterday and revealed the following about Pearl Jam’s 10th studio album, “I cannot tell you an exact date, but if all goes according to plan, we will have a new Pearl Jam album in nine or twelve months.” We are currently in February 2013, so Gossard seems to be indicating a November 2013- February 2014 release for the new album. Pearl Jam have only released two albums in the last decade: 2006′s Pearl Jam and 2009′s Backspacer.

Well, sure, but 'last decade' could be interpreted a couple of ways. The last decade in my mind was the noughties; the next decade has just started. Even interpreted the other way, we're only a year out.

I wonder if this thing could be taking so long because its going a double album? i thought they said a year or so ago they had 16 or 18 songs they were working on, and even if some of those don't make the cut, you would think 9 or 10 would, then the half done comments could mean they are gonna try to have 20 or so for a double album.
