Season 2 is great. The change of scenery can be a bit jarring at first, but the story is fantastic.

I think Bunny is the best from season 3, just for Hampsterdam alone.

Finished season 2. Not quite as exciting as season 1, but I think I enjoyed it just as much overall. I really feel for those union guys and the Sobotkas especially.

There were some old posts about the way this was filmed versus other shows and let me just say that the doc-style realism is perfect.
I find it hard to believe there's another tv show or movie with story writing or character development on par with the Wire. Save for maybe Game of Thrones.
This show also makes me crave booze and cigarettes like a motherfucker.
