Only 3 episodes in. I've liked it okay so far but I'm glad most of you say it gets better as they progress.
Yeah, Lindsay and Maeby have definitely changed the most physically since the original run.

Mrs Featherbottom nonsense?

:shake:
"Excuse me, Mister Fingerbottom?"
Blackstool
And the crying while singing.

All good stuff.
I think Season 4 is my favorite. I wonder if it was designed to be seen in binges. I think I would be completely lost watching one episode a week.
I agree, I think. So many of the little pleasures in this season require immediate and full recall of some fairly small details. I suspect drawn out viewing, in the initial run, could be detrimental.

I think the Buster episode was my favorite, although I still have the last episode to watch.

Saw the 2nd GOB episode last night, and have the Maeby one up next.

I think I liked this one better than the 1st GOB episode.
Spoiler: show
Him and Tony Wonder are absolutely fantastic, Ben Stiller was just great. Their scenes together really got me. I also loved the scene where Siri call GOB "gob". Him and Tobias eating mustard and parmesan is pretty funny too, oh, and that GOB sold all the houses to sex offenders. This was definitely a great episode.
I hope to finish it all up this weekend.

What is "ADR"?

re; Mrs. Featherbottom, yeah, it's not my favorite either. However, Buster with the hook is great. I love Buster so much.
Spoiler: show
Really missing him from the new season

I never really noticed it until someone pointed it out in an interview, now I see it all the time.

Interesting. Now I'm gonna have to re-watch the entire series again.

From what I know of the show, and from what I read from the link, the part bolded stood out to me. I wonder if it's intentional?

ADR is usually considered a necessary evil but there are moments when looping can be used not just for technical reasons but to add new character or interpretation to a shot. Just by altering a few key words or phrases an actor can change the emotional bent on a scene.

Yeah, in the interview I saw (no idea where, when or who. Sorry) they said it was to keep all the storylines and inside jokes straight. It's why there are so many shots where the person speaking has their back to the camera.

I felt the same way about Buster, but his episode, I think episode 14, is well worth the wait. He's so great.

My favorite moments after one viewing of the season:
Spoiler: show
The constant reference to the "Getaway" song
Gob and Tony Wonder interactions
Tony Wonder's slogan
Buster and the Lucille made out of pillows
The voting scene when they voted Michael out of the dorm room
A NU START
The electric woodwind stuff
Lucille
Buster's giant hand
One character I was hoping would make a cameo but didn't:
Spoiler: show
Rita. I have not seen the last episode so maybe? Also, I read an interview where Charlize Theron wants to do that role again if they do a movie.

Just rewatched the pilot - don't know why, but this exchange made me laugh the most in the episode:

(Buster playing his tribal drum)

Michael: You can't do that out on the balcony?
Buster: Mom says it's too windy

That is one of my favorite moments in the whole series for some reason. It sums up Jason bateman as the straight man to perfection.

Just remembered another thing that killed me:
Spoiler: show
When Michael calls George Michael, his contact photo on GM's phone is him making the "man-egg" disgusted face. :haha:
Michael cemented himself as my favorite character with this new season, for sure.
