Johnnie Walker to numb the pain.
How is this? I make my own chia drinks occasionally, but have never bought one from a store.Chloe wrote:Grape Chia kombucha
Well, it's the first chia drink I've ever had, wasn't sure what to expect but it was good. I'm completely addicted to kombucha. I find myself craving it if I haven't had it in a few days. This particular flavor was less kombucha-y (less vinegar tasting) than I typically like, but I'd still try another flavor since they all seem to vary a bit. Do you drink kombucha as well? I've been flirting the idea of making my own, but fermenting my own food/drinks kinda freaks me out a bitturned2black wrote:How is this? What type of chia drinks do you make? I found a chia pudding recipe that I want to try, have never cooked with it before.turned2black wrote:How is this? I make my own chia drinks occasionally, but have never bought one from a store.Chloe wrote:Grape Chia kombucha
Honestly, they are basically just smoothies (yogurt, fruit and apple juice) with chia thrown in.Chloe wrote:What type of chia drinks do you make? I cant' say that I noticed an energy boost from it, but I had a flight yesterday and was just coming off of a 70 hour work week in Orlando, nothing was going to give me a boost lol This was the first time I knowingly ate chia, but it was a nice crunch to say the leastturned2black wrote:Honestly, they are basically just smoothies (yogurt, fruit and apple juice) with chia thrown in.Chloe wrote:What type of chia drinks do you make? I think they are pretty tasty.
I also make a drink that is just chia and sugar water for long runs. It's better than any energy gel or drink.
I want to delve deeper into chia recipes as well.
It's not really a quick energy boost. It's more of a sustained energy thing. I can sip on the chia concoction and be good for an all-day (or 4+ hours at least) run.Chloe wrote:I cant' say that I noticed an energy boost from it, but I had a flight yesterday and was just coming off of a 70 hour work week in Orlando, nothing was going to give me a boost lol This was the first time I knowingly ate chia, but it was a nice crunch to say the leastturned2black wrote:Honestly, they are basically just smoothies (yogurt, fruit and apple juice) with chia thrown in.Chloe wrote:What type of chia drinks do you make?
