I'm now 2 eps into S3. What a fucking ride S2 & 3 so feel almost like a different show, though.

The Americans for sure. I'm still too close to this one to talk about it objectively. But yeah, it's such a weird show. I would say it's not quite like anything I've seen. But then LOST.

Amy Brennan was in the audience (just a few rows behind me) at the Broadway show I saw last night. When I saw her coming down the steps I crossed my arms, stared at her, and pretended to smoke. Amy didn't see me and my wife made me stop before she did. I thought it was funny.

Sadly, I don't think the show was ever nominated for any major category.

The more I reflect on the series, the more I'm convinced it's brilliant.

That monologue in the finale is perfect art. It's so fast beyond anything else I can think of in modern tv.
