Is this really the US team? For the first time that I can remember, fear is not the primary aspect of this team. They are playing to score, not playing to prevent scoring. To watch our B team play exciting, fearless soccer is something I didnt think I'd ever see in my lifetime.

I hope they get to the final so I can go to the game in Chicago. That would make it 2 USA v Mex games in two months for me.

Eddie Johnson hasnt played like that in a US shirt since 2005, and I absolutely love Diskerud's game.

He's banking on a really good year so he can break the bank next season. I did think he was as good as gone though....

I was so sure he was off to North London. We have a good young side that will have to click this year. But man, we miss Petrov and we need a holding midfielder.

Remember when Villa had Michael Bradley on loan and never gave him time? He'd be pretty helpful in that role...

Yes he would. I haven't see the US play since Sth Africa but he seemed to really give Dempsey room to roam. How has that team developed? And is Guzan #1?

Howard is still the #1. The team looked awful for about a year and half after Klinsmann was hired, but the last 10 games or so is the best they have looked in 20+ years, maybe ever. Bradley was a beast for Roma last season, it still puzzles me that he didnt get minutes at Villa.
