This weekend is really an awful time for this to start for me.

I will most likely be gone when chud picks, so I'm gonna PM my pick to BRL & Kaius to make for me when chud shows up. When it gets back to me for round two, just have someone DM me on twitter.

If it's gonna be bad for a lot of people we can always suspend the draft at a certain time tonight or something and pick up where we left off on Tuesday morning. I'm down with whatever the rest of you guys want to.

Hopefully we can get through a bunch of rounds today.

I sent a pick and a back-up pick to Kaius and BRL. If it gets back to me in round two and my back-up pick still hasn't been taken, that'll be my second round pick, so you guys can keep rolling.

Actually, fuck it, I'll send them a few picks so I don't hold things up.

God damnit I was gonna take Barry Bonds.

I guess I'll take the best right handed hitter I've ever seen.

Manny Ramirez.

He was a pretty decent hitter.

Guys, this isn't like an OB or PJ tournament. We can do a quick clock since we're all within what, 2 time zones of each other... as long as we stop that quick clock entirely between like 10p and 8a. Hell, i think all but maybe one of us is eastern time zone.

Kaius....can you handle Lament's draft pick for me? My board access today will depend on how work flow is today.

Lament is up, just make his pick for him now since kaius isn't here.

If you want to PM me his picks I can do it for him. He has 2 picks before it gets back to me.

Yep. Baseball specific tourneys are unlikely to have a lot of aussies unless Dave Nilsson is a Pearl Jam fan

I don't understand why BRL posted telling kaius to make lament's pick, when in that very same post he could have made Lament's pick.

I was at a game when Manny Ramirez did this:

Only 17 times has a player hit a ball into the fifth deck at the SkyDome. This ball cleared all the seats and hit the cement facing at the back of the fifth deck. Probably the second most impressive thing I've ever seen live at a ball game.

The video wasn't posted right, and I had only read the first line of your post and I knew exactly what you were talking about.,\

Not to take away from it, but it was just shy of the cement wall at the back.
