wth. Haven't seen you 'round these parts in a while. How have you been?
Doing good Ruddock. Enjoying the weather out here in Boulder. Got my fill of PJ with LB and that tour closer in Denver, but am always up for this thread. I found so much good music in here last year.
I searched The New Basement Tapes and didn't come up with anything. Is there a thread on them? Did everyone love it? I didn't care for Elvis' stuff, but everything else was awesome. Played that record everyday for a coupe months.

I've just spent the last 40 minutes really enjoying my first listen through Chastity Belt's Time to go Home. Excellent all-chick indie-alt-gaze-pop-ish-thingy tunes.
Here's the title track from the album.
Fellows - this is a really good album.

New Jerusalem in My Heart album is coming out on Constellation September 4. It's called If He Dies, If If If If If If. No track preview as of yet, but there is the teaser-type video:

the Hot Chip album is alright. the band is definitely talented and creative, but their sound seems to be missing something production-wise. I think they'd benefit greatly from a producer like Danger Mouse or someone.
Pyogenesis announced a new album called A Century in the Curse of Time. They said they are going back to their metal roots, which would make it their first metal album in about 20 years. I am so excited.

I'm sure there's plenty of gold in this thread that I'm yet to discover, but as we hit the half-way mark here are my fave songs of 2015 so far:
Tame Impala - Let It Happen
Courtney Barnett - Pedestrian At Best
Sleater-Kinney - A New Wave
Father John Misty - Strange Encounter
Belle and Sebastien - Nobody's Empire
Alabama Shakes - Don't Wanna Fight
Faith No More - Black Friday
Best Coast - California Nights
Other Lives - Reconfiguration
Muse - Reapers
It's been a pretty shithot year so far

Downloaded 2015s from Nadine Shah and Alabama Shakes last night. More impressed with the former than the latter so far.
Between Courtney Barnett and Tame Impala I reckon that Australia wins the blue ribbon this year, everyone else (Sufjan, Father John, SK) is a distant second.
