Finally finished this. The last two seasons were the best. Had a great ending as well. The parking lot scene was amazing.
That scene was awesome. What an amazing cast.Anders wrote:Finally finished this. The last two seasons were the best. Had a great ending as well. The parking lot scene was amazing.
Yes. They were probably the best thing about the series.VinylGuy wrote:That scene was awesome. What an amazing cast.Anders wrote:Finally finished this. The last two seasons were the best. Had a great ending as well. The parking lot scene was amazing.
Just beginning S3. I hate the Clark/Martha arc but otherwise I agree.cutuphalfdead wrote:The Americans is so fucking good

I can't listen to that certain song in the finale without feeling absolutely gutted.digster wrote:I finished this up a week ago, and it's still sticking with me. It's one of my favorite shows I've ever seen, and I think I prefer to many of the dramas that got bigger attention (attention they certainly deserved) in the previous decade. There's one or two particular moments in the finale that just hit me harder than any other episode of television I've seen.
I never liked the kids, but the other leads were all impressive. Margot Martindale in particular was consistently great.Monkey_Driven wrote:It's difficult for me to pick a favorite performance from the cast. All of the major players consistently impressed.
It's heart breaking but Alison Wright plays her so fucking well.washing machine wrote:It's just so fucked up.Monkey_Driven wrote:Just keep at it.washing machine wrote:Just beginning S3. I hate the Clark/Martha arc but otherwise I agree.cutuphalfdead wrote:The Americans is so fucking good
It might be the best, start to finish, show I've ever seen. Even The Wire had a sub par final season.digster wrote:I finished this up a week ago, and it's still sticking with me. Its highs were more understated that some other top tier shows, but it is certainly up there in the top tier.cutuphalfdead wrote:It might be the best, start to finish, show I've ever seen. It just stayed consistently good all the way through, and has one of the best finales I've ever seen.Monkey_Driven wrote:Its highs were more understated that some other top tier shows, but it is certainly up there in the top tier.cutuphalfdead wrote:It might be the best, start to finish, show I've ever seen. The second to last season was just ok, but otherwise I agree.cutuphalfdead wrote:It just stayed consistently good all the way through, and has one of the best finales I've ever seen.Monkey_Driven wrote:Its highs were more understated that some other top tier shows, but it is certainly up there in the top tier.cutuphalfdead wrote:It might be the best, start to finish, show I've ever seen.
