My guess was that the hippie left was going to say cancer, while the paranoid libertarians would trot out some sort of surveillance state woo.

There is concern the effect of the shift to millimeter waves is not well studied enough to know what the safe limit really is

Wait, curveball--I heard 5G was bad because it's going to interfere with weather satellites or something.

Am I missing a joke? Because a needle would be inside her arm during the injection, right? And I will admit that fine points (ha!) are hard for me to see right now from the surgery so if there's not a needle and it's just hard for me to see I apologize for the extra sleuthing.

It doesn't look like a needle is there when she moves the syringe. Hard to tell though.
Re: Alex Jones, Food Babe, AntiVax and other such Woo
kind of stupid to report on it and not verify that it's a real person.
Insider couldn't verify whether Walker is an actual person who wrote the post seen on "Light for Riley," or whether she truly did pass out chicken pox-infected lollipops.

A buddy of mine tells me at lunch the other day I need to check out Clyde Lewis, that his radio show is super cool and whatnot. I look the guy up and he's what could only be described as a "poor-man's Alex Jones." Sandy Hook hoaxer, moon landing was faked, you name it. Just completely batshit. My friend has definitely moved to the right over the years but he seems to be going all-in on this nutter garbage, and I'm not sure what to do or say.
He also told me a story at lunch about a client of his (he supplies restaurants), who was upset about running out of a product my friend supplies. What should have been no big deal was instead, according to my friend, the guy flipping out and firing him, and looking at him like he was going to kick his ass despite a previously friendly business relationship. I can't help but wonder if he just said the wrong thing in conversation, or mentioned some of this conspiracy crap, and it pissed the guy off. I personally wouldn't do business with someone who told me to check out a guy who spreads Sandy Hook crap.

Everyone has at least one friend like this.
It's called mental illness.
I tell them to hang up their tin foil hats by the door before they enter my house.
If they try to start a Jones-esque conversation, they are mercilessly ridiculed and silenced.
Tough love.

do you use the potatoes in socks to beat the flu out of him?
I know we used oranges in socks once or twice but that was because oranges don't bruise.

I went to a surprise birthday party today, and near the end all of us had fun bashing Gwyneth Paltrow's woomastery. So since this thread was bumped, she definitely merits a mention in here.

Dammit, bune. Stop looking for medical advice on the Internet.

Are you supposed to be wearing the socks while the potatoes are in them? Or is the residue of recent potato storage that fights the flu?
