The Fixer debuted on the pearljam.com website. It was streamed on there for free.

Good point. I'm not sure there is enough acknowledgement, around here atleast, of the realities of the music business these days and how that will effect the way they release it. I'm thinking maybe the Moonlander thing may have been a way for the PJ organization to test how a certain style of release is recieved? They may be thinking of a bunch of different options and that may be what they are doing right now and why it may be a while until we hear about a release date.
