Yes, this pretty much sums up 14 pages of this thread.

I told my wife they were doing this anthology movies and she rolled her eyes. I told her one of them was Han Solo and she got all, "Why?! Who cares? What's the point of that? Jesus!" (Keep in mind she's not a big SW fan but LOVED TFA).

Then I told her about Rogue One and she leaned back in her chair. Her got wide. And she said, "See... there are all these bad ideas... and then sometimes... sometimes somebody comes up with something really great. Like that. That sounds awesome."

So, she's totally on board and excited about Rogue One.

This movie could be about Greedo's grandchildren for all I care. All that matters is that Edwards is at the helm.

As someone who has never seen a single film by this Edwards person, I can not share your enthusiasm. But I'm excited for you.
