Those were a series of devastating replies Stip.
This is def something I'm most satisfied with from the Marvel movies. That people (I'm not speaking for Jorge's dad) see Capt. as cool. The view of him as a cornball was always off. He's my favorite in the movies too.@SkitchP wrote:Kaius wrote:That last quote reads exactly like someone that will be happy with anything as long as it doesn't challenge them.
I disagree with that. To me it's more of a statement of the overall Marvel mission. I went in to these with a passing knowledge of super heroes and comics. I found Captain America hokey and dumb. Their universe has changed my mind completely. He's now my favorite by a large margin so now I have an investment in this character beyond BUT GUYS ITS BATMAN! That allows these continuing films to have a depth beyond neat costumes.
Yeah at this point I'd say I'm a fan of the Captain America movies rather than the Marvel movies. I'm not really a big fan of any of the non Cap movies except the first Thor. But even with the flaws of the first movie, I still found what they did with the character to be fascinating.bada wrote:This is def something I'm most satisfied with from the Marvel movies. Star-Lord is going to bring his awesome mix to Marvel's The Avengers: Infinity War.
Captain America: Civil War filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo confirmed with Birth Movies Death that Chris Pratt's Star-Lord will pop up in the next Avengers movie, which they are also directing.
However, the directors didn't state whether the Guardians of the Galaxy character would show up in the first or second installment (or possibly both) of the two-part sequel.
