Thanks. I knew he had a great year in 60 as well but didn't know his WAR was higher than 61. Damn.

Nellie Fox

I would have taken Nellie fox with my pick in the last round, I had it typed in and everything.. Then I decided to check that it was spelled with one X and changed my mind and went with Kiner mid Google.

Lots of my sleepers are still available. This is much more fun then I thought it would be. Expected it to be fun but I didn't see any of these guys play so......

Still sore I didn't take Ashburn. :shake:

I loved the radio edit of that song. For all the bad words it had like goofy noises and animal sounds. Super funny when you are like 16.

Yeah, that was an accident because my other options were taken and I panicked.

There seem to be a few great pitchers in this era and a lot of good ones. Like less great ones then the other tourneys we have done? Maybe I am totally wrong without totally dissecting the numbers. Lots of depth in the middle rounds I bet.

A lot of pitchers eligible were in their first few or last few years during this time frame and their best years were ahead of them or behind them respectively.

I feel like there are less "legendary" pitchers and more pitchers who had just a few outstanding years.

The mound being raised five inches in 1968 for a single season led to a lot of people putting up a single monster season (and guys who were already great like Gibson being just flat out obscene).
