Terrible playcall by the coaches, but Eli's smart enough to know he should have taken the sack there instead of throw it away. In a game of multiple meltdowns the Giants made the worse one.

Collinsworth talking up Coughlin right before the third down pass made it even better

I don't see how it's dumb, but I'm a hardcore football nerd, so I guess I wouldn't.

Maybe dumb is the wrong word but I cringe when I hear pundits and announcers use it.

I don't see what else you call it though. Rushing DT I guess? It's a very descriptive term, just like 5-tech, 9-tech, etc.

I see what you're saying, I like them being descriptive though I guess. Like you could just say Jimmy Graham is a Tight End, but he pretty much only catches and blocks horribly, so "Move TE" is more specific. Aaron Donald and Vince Wikfork are both DT's but they're very different players.
