I dunno either. It will depend on the content. Network TV sitcoms are just as homogenous and unrealistic as they were when Roseanne first launched, so there's some possibility of reviving the different lens on America like the first one did.

New Northern Exposure episodes possible coming sometime in the "near" future:
8th of May
We are currently in "active consideration" at two major streaming services. We expect be in a third in the next week or so. We were advised to have the project in consideration at multiple venues.
21st of January
We've made some suggested budget adjustments and continue to press on. Since it is in the tens of millions of dollars, you can imagine that it does not come quickly or easily. We are actively seeking space for our studio in the Seattle area, and have applied for Washington State film incentives.
As always your good will and gentle support is all we ask. You have been so wonderful and enthusiastic; it really keeps us going. The citizens of Cicely continue to be the best fans ever.

Certainly part of that. But it's also a little different given the way Twin Peaks ended and that fact that this is a true 3rd season in real time. And I'm not saying Rosanne or any of the rest can't be great, too. Just feeling burnt out.
