I was back in Kansas. Sat-Tues morning I was out in the middle of nowhere with really spotty cell service. Then Tuesday, I was just super busy. Flew back Wed.

I didn't really miss NYC, no. I was okay getting back. It was a good trip. But Kansas can wear me down pretty quickly. I loved seeing my friends. But I find it increasingly harder and harder to talk/relate to my dad. Every time I go home it just gets more and more awkward.

i'm loving this song more and more. that first ascension into the chorus(?) is so f'ing good. it's like you're taking off into flight. Then the ending feels like the engines are failing and you're falling to your death.

I'm with you. The fact that I'm enjoying it more each time bodes very well. Any idea if this is the first track? Sounds like it'd be perfect as an album opener.
