I still think it's entirely possible that Obi-Wan plays a large role in the new trilogy. And I think it makes sense to wait until after 8 or 9 to announce that film.

Thats a cool idea yeah....specially with Disney saying that the new movie unfolds some secrets from the past.

And yeah i agree with dime, the obi wan movie is the only one that makes sense...this han solo shit is useless.

It has been suggested that Obi Wan still has a part to play in this trilogy so maybe they didn't want to cross the streams or whatever.
