Whew. How much did you get the TV for? I'd love a 100 inch TV but I'd have to fully revamp any room I could put it in, and I'm too lazy to do that

The tv was only 1800 bucks including installation. Around 3k for everything. Granted the tv is is QLED so it’s not the absolute top of the line picture-wise, I’m not enough of a connoisseur to notice, even at 100 inches. The room is pitch dark so brightness shouldn’t be an issue.
I think Godzilla Minus One is gonna be the first thing I watch, assuming my son doesn’t make us watch fuckin polar express as soon as it’s set up.

That is a very good deal. I think the same TV would cost 3-5 times as much down here.

It’s a great deal here too. Gotta buy up the cheap imported consumer goods while we can

Ordered a Samsung Neo Qled 65 inch tv yesterday. Hopefully it will be a good step up from my older (non oled or qled) 55 inch Samsung tv. Also upgraded to a Denon receiver a couple of months ago, that goes well with both my tv and my Apple TV 4K.
Most important thing is that my wife and I are pleased with it, which hopefully we will be.

Everything is installed. My god. Watching Jurassic Park and I can see each individual liver spot on Richard Attenborough’s hands

Thank you. The new TV arrived yesterday. Now everything is set up right.
