Yeah, given that the band seems to collectively respect BC and this song - I find it odd that they went with such a dorky spritzy punk version.
It has absolutely no heart to it and is just plain terrible. It does not do justice to the original song at all and should never have been recorded.
This is unusual for PJ as they're normally really great at covering songs and more times than not, not only do justice to the songs they cover, but also improve on them.
This one was definitely a misfire
