by the way, that's a pretty big body of water to swim across. how, in the entire history of the dothraki, has no one ever tried to see if their damn horses could swim? now, after a thousand years, the idea is just going to dawn on them?
also, if the night's king could freeze water that simply (like, by mistake), why wouldn't he have done so when jon snow was escaping from hardhome?

He can only freeze water when the air is warm--the air was too cold around Hardhome; it has something to do with convection. I feel like I've already said too much

wait, doesn't the air always turn cold when he approaches? hence the whole "winter is coming" meme?
also, do they use celsius, kelvin, or fahrenheit?

won't it?
It won't. And if it is, there will be another way to get them there. It's not rocket science, it's fantasy/fiction. However it works out, no one's stopping that army.

I don't know... I feel like the burning of the boats two episodes before Dany acquires a Dothraki horde shouldn't be just a minor inconvenience.

Right but why are we sure those are the only boats on that side of the narrow sea? Why are we so sure Varys isn't already doing his thing and acquiring more boats? Why are we only talking about the Dothraki here? She's about to wreck some major shit, guys. She'll fucking take whatever she wants. Including boats. If there aren't any boats to be had, then I imagine she'll sick some dragons on some fuckers across the way. This will convince some other fuckers to wave their banners for her and pledge her some goddamn boats.
For fuck's sake. This conversation is worse than all of reddit freaking out about those missing goddamn dogs a few episodes ago. Christ.

Just saying, there are all kinds of options.
And it works both ways. I'm not sure there's a human enemy that can defeat the White Walkers. Not even Jon fucking Snow. How does this end without dragons/Daenerys v Night King/White Walkers?

I finally watched the latest episode of GoT last night and I really liked it. I was so excited to get into this thread and see what folks had to say and I can't tell you how happy I am that after five or six pages there was only one mention of Emilia Clarke's breasts.
Proud of you guys.

Jesus dude. It was just a light hearted discussion about the logistics of moving an army across a sea. Who pissed in your corn flakes today?

Actually, like five pages ago, trag posted about them:

And I actually like where Jon Snow's story is headed for once.
Really excited about the final shot of Bran from next week's promo.

at the risk of compromising joey's overly simplified dismissal of the same concerns of a million other viewers/book-readers, don't the dothraki have like 120,000 men, excluding horses. that's a lot of trips back and forth. and i would pay to watch Drogon flying with 3-4 horses straddling him.
