Tickets are on sale. Three viewings on the 13th at midnight in my local cinema.
Don't know if I should bite or wait n see can I get into the press screening. My pal is trying to sort me out for that.

You guys think we'll get a teaser for 8 before rogue one?

In one sense, they won't want to cross the streams. They haven't done a great job at all of letting joe punter know R1 isn't 8 so they'll wait til R1 is out of the way before they drop anything for 8.

At the same time. Putting a teaser for 8 before R1 would be a great way to let people know R1 is a different/separate story.

I wonder

They put Darth Vader in the trailers for Rogue One. How much more clear can they be that this is in an earlier timeline than the new movies?

It's added to the regular joes confusion in my experience. It's become tiresome but you can't expect people to be as into it or know what's going on the same way you might be yanno?

Spider-Man homecoming trailer has been confirmed for rogue one.

This just appeared in my local cinema. It's a death trooper. They're Vaders personal guard I believe. It's about 7ft tall

Given in the previews they are fighting on a tropical planet, we can assume that the planet is hostile. So saying it is an empire stronghold isn't that much of a surprise.

Yeah but saying what it's purpose is was a big spoiler. To me anyways.

You know, this time last year I knew pretty much everything about The Force Awakens because I was so excited to see a new Star Wars movie. For this one I've only watched the trailers and a couple TV spots, I've not read any articles about it that could give anything away, and I've not highlighted any black bars on forums.

It's going to be a fun almost-month wait.

They've done a far better job of keeping rogue one under wraps and leak proof than force awakens.
