i owe to the genre to track down a good copy of the extended edition

plus ive lost interest in the X-verse so i need a backup for when the mcu isnt in season

this movie is so bad, and it has everything to do with Snyder's limitations.

i said earlier in this thread that the movie felt like a flipbook. that explained why

He has a lot of great vids on there.

I'll have to dig through them again later. The Intertextuality and Mulholland Drive ones are good.

There's no way his videos are worth watching when his starting point here is BVS being bad

Watched the BvS one you posted. Still haven't seen BvS but what he's saying makes a ton of sense based on the other Snyder films I've seen. That was a good analysis.

Also watched the Mulholland Drive vid as well. That was outstanding.

but, we are on the same page with this movie.

Ive tried watching the directors cut and i became even more bored.

I still want to watch the movie. I'm not dying to see it or anything but I do want to see it eventually.

That was well done. I enjoyed it.

Ehhh, I enjoyed BvS a lot, I'm not sure I want to watch a video telling me why I shouldn't have liked it.

It's kind of a facile critique but it does apply to the wonkiest parts of the movie (specifically the first 40 minutes or so). Maybe I will watch the extended cut this weekend; most people are saying it fixes those exact problems with localization and context.

Ha, the first 40 minutes are my favorite part.

It perfectly describes the main problem i had with the movie. Especially all the screens! Dear God the screens!

He'd make a great photographer, and an even better opening credit montage maker, but the movie is a mess.
