I'm open to workshopping some more options until we come up with the ultimate reply, but sometimes you just gotta go with your initial instinct.

Watched Pleasure. Powerful. Did you guys know I was an extra in a porn video when I was in college? I was one of the guys drinking beer and watching at a party where 6 people supposedly started fucking in front of everybody. Anyway, I'm glad I've retired from the porn industry, it's pretty toxic

I support porn from a distance (especially indie porn that centres bodily autonomy for its performers], but it makes me feel bad so I don't really watch it; so in some ways I'm probably a little bit like both of you -- at the bar or behind glass of some kind being like "yeah cool you do you (or you do them)"

2 hours and 12 minutes. Think it’s the regular cut.

tragabigzanda wrote:If it opened in the nightclub, that’s the theatrical cut. It’s overall faster-paced, more edge of your seat and unnerving.

If it opened with the speedboats, that’s the director’s cut. Leans into the moody, atmospheric stuff more. Nice in theory but overall is a fairly different experience and I think that disquieting propulsion gets lost.
i love both.

I recently saw the director´s cut and i appreciate more.

Just watched Saving Private Ryan for the first time in maybe a decade. Obvious masterpiece. Remind me to never go to war! Seems like a bad idea!

The first half (and especially the first act) is a fantastic achievement in filmmaking.
