I thought the rumored Pygmalion was awesome. Says a lot about a band bordering on self-characterization, with an album helmed by a longtime superfan who dresses like an asshole.

A good album just has to fit the album. Also at the end of the day the title doesn't matter.

An EP from the sessions of the last album called Gigabit.

The only pearl jam album titles I genuinely like as actual album titles, irrespective of the content, are Vitalogy, Yield, and Backspacer. Kind of Riot Act.

Vs., Vitalogy, No Code, Yield - all work for me.

I like Asylum as an album title.
It already speaks to me. I love the darker stuff from PJ and Asylum seems to indicate the songs are going to be dark.

Vs, on the other hand, despite being a fantastic collection of masterpiece songs, cringes me out as an album title. It's such an unimaginative, in your face, straight forward "I'm against that". I like subtler stuff when it comes to naming things.

'Asylum' sounds like an Insane Clown Posse album. Is Eddie now a Juggalo?

Always will be. there hasn’t been album I haven’t connected with on some level. There are songs off each album that I remember hearing for the first time and being amazed.

I still remember listening to Gigaton for the first time and just being blown away with what I heard.

Same with Earthling.

Someone on the pit did some investigating and that site the Asylum album was on is a scam, people ordering records not receiving them over a year , no replies to emails . so I guess it was fake?
