All I want is a Joe-Lesnar match at some point in the next year.

I'd love to see a match where someone was booked as a true challenge to Lensar's physical dominance, Joe would be perfect for that.

I'd heard rumors that they would integrate LGBT storylines into the show, if that was the first step towards that this should go swimmingly.

The Jack the Ripper themed one he did at the NXT London show was awesome.

it doesn't do a lot for me, but i don't hate it either
i like his "regular look"...but his mic skills are lacking, and i find his in-ring work mostly average

Yeah, really interesting. So if that was all a work, it was amazing, but if Miz was actually shooting on Bryan at the end there he can go fuck himself. Bryan gets better pops as a GM than Miz will ever dream of getting, but I guess he has those pre-show matches against Ryback and Apollo Crews to hang his hat on.

My gut says it was a work, but Renee's reaction and the fact that neither of them have commented on it since leaves the door open in my mind. I think it might have started out as a work and Miz may have gone off script.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
Smackdown, so far, is the better show by a decent margin. There are some small details with how it's been done that are driving me crazy, like how they keep insisting on putting the entire women's division or tag division in one match, which just draws attention to how thin they both are. I don't like calling those titles "Smackdown champion" if they aren't going to call the equivalent belts on Raw "Raw champion." There are a few other little things, but overall Smackdown doesn't feel like a chore to watch like Raw does.

possibly...i'm trying to decide if DB walking off makes it seem more like a work or a shoot...i can see an argument for either sidenumbers wrote:My gut says it was a work, but Renee's reaction and the fact that neither of them have commented on it since leaves the door open in my mind. Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
let's call it a worked shoot. obviously some truths are spoken here (and miz speaks them as intense as i've ever seen him, which helps this immensely), but i'm sure everyone knew what was going on. to me, this is as good as it gets these days when it comes to working that kayfabe/truth line. fantastic promo/interview. and give it up to renee, too, she helps sell this. she's been pretty good on this show.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
Well, I think those network shows and dotcom segments don't get written like a tv segment would. I think it's more old school "go out and talk about such and such" and it's just left up to the wrestlers(the way it should be.) I don't think Miz would have been allowed to storm the set of it wasn't planned, but I also think Miz may have just gone way too far once he started talking. It's tough to say. Renee seemed to have a "oh shit!" expression on her face.
