Blood Diamond was underwhelming.

Children of Men is an all time favorite.

Going in now. Hope it is that good.

Will finish that and The Pursuit Of Happyness this weekend. Can move on to 2007-2009 then. Feel like those three years belong together in my life, so will add all three to the queue, but will probably mostly prioritize the oldest year.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

The world does feel real, none of the Hollywood gloss, or the English camp feeling that occurs in some of their movies.

Look forward to it.

Will see 100 (40-30-30) movies from those years (07-09).

I'm not sure. That's just the name of the movie but it doesn't stand for anything in the movie itself

Huh:
Director SS Rajamouli, along with Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show in December 2021. That’s where Kapil asked Rajamouli why he named his film RRR. And the ace director had a great explanation for this.

He shared, “In the beginning, we didn’t know what to put the title as, so we thought we should refer to the project as RRR because of - Ram Charan, Rama Rao (Jr NTR) and Rajamouli. We started putting hashtags as RRR and the response of the audience was overwhelming so we kept RRR as the title.”
