i keep those simple...when we grill filets I always add one more for sandwiches next day..sliced thin on a 6 in baguette with horseradish..I prefer them cold but will sometimes heat it up with some a slice of monterey jack

This makes me happy. I had some great strawberries a couple times on my trip to NC/TN last week. We stayed at a B&B that had a 4-course regional dinner, and for dessert they did a strawberry icebox pie. It was so simple and so delicious, all 'coz of those roasted strawberries.

Unfortunately no. We did honestly plan on it, it was written in ink on our to-do list! But we seriously OD'd one day on fried chicken and waffles at King Daddy's in Asheville. I just couldn't stomach another round so shortly after.

I went to a KFC today and had the Nashville Hot Chicken. I was sure it was going to suck.

It was actually pretty good. I don't know what Nashville hot chicken is supposed to taste like, but I'd revisit KFC for this.
