Yeah, its not a coincidence that the only current guys that cut a legitimately good promo are the guys that are exempt from scripting(Heyman, Jericho, HHH, Punk when he was still around, a couple more guys.) If a guy cant cut a promo without having the entire thing scripted for him, he shouldn't be getting mic time.

I think Miz is a great heel and underutilized, I just felt like he's got a nerve saying that stuff to Bryan(if it was really a shoot.)

well, like Bryan said, they won't let him back in the ring, which is what i think is the clue that its a work. Unless the whole retirement, GM, tease a comeback thing is the actual work, but I doubt that.

that was a much better match from Ziggler against AJ. I was hoping that he wouldn't win because the idea of another triple threat belt match seemed lame to me.

I kind of wanted the triple threat just because I assume Backlash won't be the only Ambrose-AJ match.

Wrestling is at it's best when you are wondering whether or not something was real. Which also plays into how scripted promos are killing WWE.

The miz is good on the mic, but his in ring work is a bit gutless. He really seems to encapsulate the PG wwe style that turned me off for so many years.

Yeah, not really his fault though. He's a guy who has zero experience outside of WWE, they trained him. Most of the guys like that wrestle that style.

I don't blame him, but I still don't really have any interest in watching him wrestle. I'm just glad the wwe finally started making use of all the talent in the indies.

Yeah, the quality of matches in WWE has gone up so much in the last 2 years. Matches that were MOTY candidates in 2013 arent even top 20 today.

they really just need to find a way to balance that with stronger writing and character work

Maybe the great matches nave come at the expense of increased injuries? That might hurt the writing.

Writing and in ring are totally seperate. Today we have possibly the golden generation of wrestlers and the worst creative process ever. The biggest problem, as I see it, is that there are way too many cooks in the kitchen. The show needs to be written by one person primarily.

My problem is raw is that they have a 3 hour show and still couldn't find a place for Cesaro-Sheamus. How do you have 3 hrs and not use Cesaro? I also am glad that Carmella turned as she was getting cricket level reactions

i wouldn't say they're totally separate...i think one can enhance or hinder the other
