Snoke doesn't know how Rey is, yea?
We know for certain that Kylo Ren doesn't know who she is. I would expect it's probable that Snoke doesn't either.

The dead bodies are nothing more than representatives of the life she never knew because her horrible parents abandoned her.

I read your question incorrectly. Please ignore my post.

Actually he more than most seems to know who she is. 'The girl I heard so much about' and 'it is you!' In the book. Let's see though. Could just back up the idea he was with luke when he was looking for her. Or it was he himself hid her. Total rabbit hole.

But the books aren't canon so you can't go by those. You have to go with what's in the film. I wouldn't be surprised either way. I'm just not ready to say for certain that he knows for sure who she is.

Even those lines in the book (which don't matter) can be read different ways. "The girl I heard so much about" sounds like rumors and stories (hey! maybe another prophecy!) more than concrete knowledge.

But, yeah, it could go either way. And I won't be surprised by either.

Sure, sure.

I guess when I say "they don't know who she is" I mean specifically. They don't knew her name and they've never met her. They may have heard rumors about "some girl who..." Or whatever. Like I said, maybe there's a prophecy at work here, too. Or maybe all those rumors about her being the reincarnated Anakin are true. I have no idea. Obviously, they know OF her or can feel her presence as it pertains to the Force and all of that.

Dammit I want the whole film now.

it's mad looking back at the TFA trailers. They actually give you a pretty good outline of the film if you piece them together. Wonder if anyone will be so clairvoyant this time round

Right? Other than the re-shoots which no one could predict, the same could be said of Rogue One, too. Be interesting to see how they market this next one.

Very fucking carefully I would imagine :haha:
Trailers will be composed with way more caution than last year.

I have a sneaky susupicion they may pump the breaks after 9. There's still no future film makers panel scheduled for celebration. Which is where the new project is announced.

Highly unusual.

Especially given there is no celebration in 2018

Unless they plan on saving some stuff for the Disney Event later on, yeah, I think you're right.

I don't know the timeline with regards how celebration fits in but 9 is coming only 6 months after Han so to put a celebration in April , 2 months or even 1 of it's in April, before 9?
Would be overkill. Totally understand that.

Be weird to leave a vacuum after building up this head of steam with the films, but can totally see Joe public becoming bored of Star Wars onslaught especially that close together.

Yeah not sure a source but when I google "Episode 9" it all says May 23, 2019. So that would be more like a year after Han, right?

TBH I don't know. And I'm not sure anyone does. All the SW outlets and podcasts I follow are working from the basis and saying that 9 is 6 months after Han.
I'd love a gap. Even let it be a year. But this craic of hat they're moving to two films a year?
I'm fanatical but I Think that may be overkill
