what's your favorite kind of chip?
i'm a boring lay's classic fan.

but i do like a brand called "utz" kettle chips.

if you put french onion dip in front of me, the whole bag of chips will be gone in a minute.
Utz Kettle chips are the best. If you can find their style called "Grandma Utz", those are the best.
Haven’t been able to find those. Plenty of Utz, tho.

I live in a port city, and with the port workers strike, the fucking idiots in this town think that there is going to be a shortage of toilet paper and other shit like that. They think that our tp for this town comes in through the port and is distributed locally here. I'd laugh but now I have to go find some toilet paper because we are running low.

Behind someone at a fast food restaurant who: 1) can't decide on what they want to eat 2) picks something but wants it extremely modified 3) asks for things that aren't available

seriously...is this your virgin experience with fast food. how the fuck do you now know what you want by now?

Increasingly the visibility on these electronic menus is getting too loud and chaotic, these fast food places keep rolling out limited time offerings, and there are a variety of "bundle" options popping up.

It's definitely annoying to be behind somebody who is taking a long time to order, but the fast food consumer machine is partially the blame for it.

Every Thursday after the gym I head to a local Italian deli place for a continental roll for lunch. It's always hell busy and you have to take a numbered ticket to stake your place in "the queue". Invariably, exactly as happened yesterday, the number before me will be some mega order for a small office or some dude who insists on personally advising every ingredient he either wants or doesn't on his roll. This guy yesterday ordered 2 rolls and managed to stretch the process out to 10 minutes or so.

My turn comes up and it's "House Special with lettuce please" and I'm gone in 45 seconds.

Frustrating.

This is the most succinct defense of anti-active topic ethos I've ever read.
