When I was in the military, someone slipped an anonymous letter into the mailbox of a coworker who was having an office affair. The letter basically stated that they knew about the affair, and it was wrong, and the people involved should be ashamed, and stop the affair. Pretty sure the parties involved had families too.
Anyway, you - or said person - could try an anonymous letter.
