I enjoyed the artwork during the reveal but the booklet looks like a big swing and miss.

I like it, though I think seeing everything beforehand lessens the impact. If we'd never seen any of that art, it would hit me more.

I really like how it looks, from the pics anyway. We'll see when I am holding it
Can you post your yellow moon lyrics, jambi?

MY FATHER'S SON
I come from a genius and I am my father's son
Too bad he was a psychopath
And now I'm the next in line
Then there's dear mother, yea Shirley
She's a work of art
I never got top dollar, but she gave us all a start
Can I get a reprieve?
This gene pool drowning me
Can I beg a release?
I'm a volunteer amputee
From the moment i fail
I call on DNA
Why such betrayal?
Got me tooth and nail
Yeh How's about one conversation
With nothing else left to be had?
With this your young long lost son
And his never had dear old dad
Forget the insemination
And for that I'm supposed to be glad?
What a pity you left us so soon
To climb your mountain of regret
Can I get a reprieve?
This gene pool dark and deep
Can I beg a release?
Can I volunteer amputee
From the moment I fail
I call on DNA
Why such betrayal?
Gotta set sail
All the bright lights shining
As you're trying to breathe in thin air
Cannot forget you're hiding
Collected wounds left unhealed
When every thought you're thinking
Sinks you darker than the new moon sky
The far away lights rising
In the whites of your eyes
Now Father you're dead and gone
And I'm finally free to be me.
Thanks for all your fucked-up gifts
For which I got no sympathy
Now I'm living in a war torn place
Hear the bombs, a 5th syphmony
Thanks for this and thanks for that
Gotta let go legacy
Can I get a reprieve?
This gene pool drowning me
Can I beg a release?
Can I volunteer amputee
From the moment I fail,
I call on DNA
Why such betrayal?
I gotta set sail

I wasn't needing to like this album more than I did, but then I listened to the FLAC, and saw the artwork. Yep, 2013 will be remembered fondly. It's mine and my wife's first anniversary on the 27th as well

Yellow Moon
Here far away
One could feel the Earth vibrate
Moon changing shape and shade
(As we all do under its gaze?)
Yellow moon on the rise
Yellow moon on the rise
Round we go
Where we stop at no one knows
So tonight the moon I go
Yellow moon on the rise.
Oh………
An echo that rings,
a bullet unchained,
One life one grave
Joins the parade
(up high?)The sky grows dark with falling stars
Who’ve come so far a headstone engraved
The colors turn gray
The black and white (face?)
Yellow moon on the rise
Yellow moon on the rise

Keep on truckin', One-effed Jefrey. A few more songs and I'll finally be able to jam this album.

Something we can all agree on, I think.

Sadly, I have to leave for work in a few minutes.
I noticed in MYM, that the lyric is
I caught myself believing
that I needed God
and if it's out there somewhere
we sure could use
hymns now

That's a nice unexpected change.
