Pj20 was great. What are you getting at ?
I just am not vibing with the SNL concert at all. Nostalgia overload; a room of celebrities playing for a room full of celebrities; some poor choices on attendees and programming. It all feels very self congratulatory, which I suppose Lorne has earned; but I don’t find it very entertaining. Also everyone looks either old or plastic.
What were your expectations? This was how these types of shows/concerts go. It's a nostalgia victory lap. SNL 40 was like that too. I'm sure Sunday's show will be similar.

It's like an All-Star/Hall of Fame game.
I had a greater tolerance for this stuff 10 years ago I guess.
Liberal Hollywood you mean.

These shows where they bring a billion acts together to play are usually terrible. This was fantastic.

Cher!

Brandi Carlisle is a powerhouse.

Eddie sounded great.

Nirvana needs to tour with Post.

Fire Fallon into the sun.

His Mrs posting pictures from inside Chers dressing room. Like sneaking in.

If you did that in his dressing room your arms would be broken and you’d never be allowed in a pj gig ever again.

First time seeing the first episode of SNL they aired last night. A few good gems in there but you could tell trying to find their footing.

“Show us your guns” just as absurd 50 years ago as it is today.

the pirate hat thing was ed’s best part of the night

corduroy could have been special but he pussed put on the orig bridge and went for a (truncated) classic crapass call and response rendition

missed opportunity
