Yea. Getting a "locked-on" warning, and then trying to dodge it by jump packing or hiding under cover is really fun, and totally fair play.

They lessened the impact of the DL-44, which I wasnt using, but still, why? I feel like they are punishing people who got good at THIS game to make it more like Call Of Duty for the people that are more used to that game.
The DL-44 got off 2 powerful shots in the time any other gun got off one

But the DL-44 would take forever to cool down, so to me that negated the advantage. That's why I didnt use it.

The person using it who gets killed waiting for it to cool down after?

The online player stats for this are mind boggling. Like 4% are on PC vs over 50% on PS4.

I finished The Wolf Amongst Us today. Typical Telltale. No complaints - what I was expecting.
Any updates on The Witness?

Haven't had a chance to play it yet. I'll let you know.

Gave myself a little preview of Battlefront last night. Tons of fun. Beautiful graphics. Surprisingly balanced gameplay (I expected to be brutalized right away, but I actually held my own and often ranked among the top few players in the match). I think I like the aerial combat most.
However, after just a few hours of play, I already feel like this game needs much more variety and content than it has right now. I'm gonna need a LOT more maps if this is going to sustain my interest for any reasonable period.

They released their DLC plan last week. Looks like there will be new content each quarter or so until early next year.

Ugh, so I guess that GOTY edition is pretty far away. I really don't want to drop like $200 on this game and PS Plus.

Not sure if you were playing your own copy with a level 1 character, or someone else's, but I think you'll start to encounter new maps as you move forward. I agree there's not a ton of variety, but some maps didn't seem to open up to me until I had played for a while (for example, I didn't get Walker Assault on Endor until a couple weeks in).

Hmm, that's weird. I'm pretty sure I played all the maps just last night. You know you can specifically choose Walker Assault, right?

Yeah, some of the maps aren't in certain game modes.

Yes, but I would always get Walker Assault on Hoth or Coruscant. Sometime around character level 10, I finally got a Walker Assault on Endor.
There was a similar scenario with one of the game modes on Tatooine. I had been to Tatooine from the get-go, but one game mode in particular (Supremacy maybe?) didn't put me on Tatooine for a while, and even then it's a different Tatooine map than I was getting in other matches.
Your point stands, there needs to be more variety. But I think there's still more for you to discover.

Ahhhh okay, I didn't realize there were multiple maps for Walker Assault. I thought it was just Hoth.

I'll also say that I haven't messed around with any of the upgrades or customization yet. I gave it a glance, was a little confused, and just decided not to worry about it for the time being. I think I got up to level 7 or 8.

I've been playing through Uncharted 2 again in anticipation of Uncharted 4. What a fabulous game. One of my all-time favorites.

When you select the game mode, you can specify which map you want to use. If you don't specify, it'll obviously just kick you onto the best host given your connection speed.
