I can see that, I could see the album as a whole basically being about the world currently being in the toilet. Natural disasters, mass shootings, the toppled economy, society currently seems to be in a downward sprial so having an album full of songs covering this whole spectrum doesnt seem like a far stretch and I for one would really welcome it.

Which people? 'Sirens' has been rumoured and we're wondering whether it was a murky recording of a soundchecked song some of us heard.

Listened to the tune in the 2013 Tour video on YT - sounds remarkably like the chords used in CC, dont you think?

I've heard a few people say this but I'm not good enough with music and chords to tell if they're the same. That would be interesting.

Very interesting theory, I'd have to listen again but I'm currently listening to The Mynabirds so it won't happen tonight. Anyone?

The main melody for CC consists of 3 notes. The tour vid song begins with just 2 notes before it goes off into some other stuff... From what I can hear, it doesn't sound like these melodies match up with one another...

However, from a stylistic point of view, I can envision them being related pieces. The only way I could see it working is if the tour vid song is part of a new intro to CC that's being looped or altered slightly. The more I listen to it the more I could hear that song gradually working it's way into CC, but there would have to be a significant shift in the melody and rhythm... So not likely, but possible?

Cool. So maybe that would lend some further irony to the "Mind your manners!" line? I can almost imagine him enlisting the help of his children when singing this at home It's relevant to them without it being horribly cloying to us.

I have to agree with the sense that these seem like general terms of unrest (i.e. the cyclones and hurricanes), rather than some unified concept. I could be wrong, but it's easy to read in the lines if we feel that the other nine songs we don't know will fill in the gaps that are missing.
