I have a weird fascination with this case. I hated this guy on principle when he first broke out, and that grew exponentially when his whole schtick was adopted wholesale by all the white bros in my high school — just a ridiculously annoying cultural appropriation by people I was forced to fraternize with.

The late 90s/early aughts pop-culture landscape was mostly a vapid cesspool, and this dink was top dog. He built his career on the most vapid lyrics stacked on boring samples, and apparently used his success to sexually traffic a whole lot of people.

It’s really not like I’ve been thinking about puff daddy at all since his heyday, but boy am I excited to watch him fall.
